The Other Craft, VI

Annyeong haseyo. Boy this hump day flew by fast. Did yours? I know many of you are extremely busy with Christmas on the horizon.

On my end I’ve been finishing up card projects so I can move onto Christmas. To keep me sane and to remind myself to take one task at a time, I’ve been brewing the new additions of my David’s Tea stash: Genmaicha, Blueberry Muffin, and Santa’s Secret. Jellybean loves the toasted rice smell and flavor in the green tea at her Bella’s house so I chose that to make her happy and I do love my green tea. Blueberry Muffin, OMGosh, smells exactly like blueberry muffin. You know how you bite into one and hit that sugared top and the sweetness of the embedded blueberries? The tea is a light version of that. Amazing! And curiosity had me ordering Santa’s Secret because Candace @transitory of the #PinfeathearsandPurls podcast absolutely loves that tea and restocks once it’s in season.

Yesterday and today I whipped up cards for the host of last weekend’s get-together. While the previous sentence says, “whipped up,” it actually took me two days of trolling Pinterest to figure out what I was going to do.

Mer’s a late December baby. I know she likes the color blue so I wanted her birthday card to reflect that.

Mer and her daughter looked for it and successfully found it! She generously mailed it back 1-Day Air. So I created a thank you card for Cupcake to write in.
